I’m a huge pasta fan! If the time permits I make pasta by myself. I made it with one of this old school small pasta machines where you put the dough through until it is perfectly thin. then put on the cutting unit to get some nice pasta out of the thin dough. It was quiet fun. But then I learn the real authentic Italian way to make pasta. It’s actually quit hard work, but it’s worth it! And after the hard work you enjoy the pasta even more 🙂 Put flour, semolina on the table, make a hole in the center to put the eggs and some olive oil in it. Now start to mix and knead until you have a nice dough. Go on with kneading for about 8 to 10 minutes until the dough is quit elastic. Last week we were invited for a barbecue at a friends house. I enjoy this casual evenings with good food and friends so much. Usually we divide the preparation of the food. So everyone bring something. When ever possible I go for the dessert. Even if I normally don’t eat that much sweets I really love to make desserts. A really easy put still impressive dessert is a cheesecake. It’s so simple to prepare and beside of the baking time it’s made in an instant. And everyone love it! There is nothing better then a refreshing ice cream with this hot weather. I’m enjoying la dolce vita in Tuscany right now and it’s incredibly hot. I’m seeking for gelato. And I’m looking forward to this fantastic nice cream waiting for me in my freezer at home. Sweets do not need to be unhealthy or artificial. The vanilla avocado nice cream is the best proof of it. I love simple, tasty and healthy food. I don’t understand, why healthy for a lot of people still means it tastes bad. Mostly it tastes even better, because of all the good and flavory ingredients. It may sound strange but it is the best vanilla pudding I ever had! Inspired by the beautiful Lynn Heaven Healthy I made this healthy and super yummy vanilla pudding. Add some passion fruit as a fresh and fruity topping. And if you have some leftovers (but I don’t think so! :-)) you can freez them and you get a perfect vanilla nice cream!
